Drum Corps of Dunkirk & Fredonia

These are some of the best Drum Corps pictures I was able to find

If I listed all the people who helped me find old pictures of the Dunkirk & Fredonia Drum Corps it would easily fill this whole page...but everyone pulled together and I scanned more than 1000 pictures of all the Drum Corps...with the exception of the old Frank Aquavia Post Drum Corps...we couldn't find any pictures of them!

I especially would like to thank Wally Latona...my old neighbor. He was very ill at the time I saw him...but he understood what I was trying to accomplish gathering all the Drum Corps pictures and he helped as best he could. Wally passed away not long after.

This page contains just a few pictures of the Drum Corps...there are more on the page labeled "Memorable Places"...and if you still want more...we produced and are selling Photo CDs of the Fire Depts & Drum Corps of Dunkirk & Fredonia...the Drum Corps Cd has over 1000 pictures...and the Fire Dept has another 800 pictures...and all the profits go to Dunkirk Charities!   Details are on Page #1 here on this website!

Please enjoy the Memories!    and if you have any pictures...could we get a scan??

Westfield NY Firemen's Parade
1961

In 1961 several cases of Koch's beer bottles escaped from the brewery and caused quite a stir before they were finally rounded up here at the Westfield NY Firemen's Parade.

Thanks to John Sullivan and the Fredonia Fire Department archives for this great photo!
